About

Mimesis Artist Management has started in 2025 from an idea by Gloria Galbiati, with the aim of creating a space dedicated to the growth, promotion and support of internationally renowned musicians. The project is in natural continuity with the experience of collaboration with Vittoria Fontana within Fontana Artists Consulting, carrying forward the vision of a management capable of supporting the artist with competence and empathy, in tune with the dynamics and needs of the professional music field.

Mimesis Artist Management’s approach is based on listening and a direct relationship with each artist, creating a deep and shared vision, in order to enhancing already established careers and to supporting young talented performers with particular attention, accompanying them in the development of coherent, ambitious and sustainable artistic projects.

The agency works mainly in the field of classical music, with an open vision that also includes contemporary languages, jazz and crossover projects.

The name Mimesis recalls the concept of “reproduction” of art, according to the Platonic vision of mimesis as an imitation of ethical virtues In this perspective, music becomes a tool to express universal values and profound ideas.

The agency’s approach is based on this principle: supporting artists in their professional development, helping them express their artistic vision in a coherent and authentic way.

Gloria Galbiati studied piano in Brescia under the guidance of Sergio Marengoni at the European Academy of Advanced Studies “R. Romanini” and graduated in Musicology in Cremona (University of Pavia) with an analytical thesis on a composition by Antonio Giacometti, which also gave rise to a lecture-concert organized by the Teatro Grande in Brescia.

Since her very young age, her passion for music has been reflected into a firm commitment to the promotion and diffusion of music, through organizational activity with the Associazione GIA – Giovani Interpreti Associati of Brescia and the “Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli” International Piano Competition, music journalism, disclosure and teaching. In 2022, the meeting with Vittoria Fontana represented for her a precious and deeply enriching experience, marking the beginning of her professional path in artistic management.
