On Saturday 29 August 2026 Gloria Galbiati, artist manager and founder of Mimesis Artist Management, will be at Villa Medici Giulini in Briosco for the Filippo Nicosia International Chamber Music Award & Masterclass, where she will give a lecture on artist management.
Directed by Simone Gramaglia and Federica Franchi, the Filippo Nicosia Award is one of the most important Italian events for young chamber ensembles: three days of masterclasses given by the members of the jury — leading figures of international chamber music — and a closing competition, offering the winners concrete opportunities such as a place on the roster of Le Dimore del Quartetto, a feature in Archi Magazine, a recording with Da Vinci Publishing and a series of prize concerts at major Italian concert institutions.
In her talk, Gloria Galbiati will invite the young musicians to engage directly with the role of the agent in chamber music: promotion strategies, career dynamics and the ways an agency can accompany artists and chamber ensembles, with the aim of offering useful tools for building an informed and sustainable musical path.
