Sandro Nebieridze makes his debut at the Bartolomeo Cristofori Festival on Sunday 20 September 2026 in Arquà Petrarca (Padua), with a programme that sets Liszt’s Three Petrarch Sonnets alongside Nebieridze’s own Three Esquisses, Stravinsky’s Three Movements from The Firebird and a world premiere by Lucas Debargue.
Sandro Nebieridze makes his debut at the Bartolomeo Cristofori Festival on Sunday 20 September 2026 in Arquà Petrarca (Padua), with a programme that sets Liszt’s Three Petrarch Sonnets alongside Nebieridze’s own Three Esquisses, Stravinsky’s Three Movements from The Firebird (in Agosti’s transcription) and a world premiere: the Petrarch Sonnet by Lucas Debargue, specially commissioned by the Cristofori Festival.
Progetto Petrarca is the title of the event, an encounter between music and poetry, with the participation of the actor Daniele Tessaro.

Born in Tbilisi, Sandro Nebieridze has established himself internationally both as a pianist and as a composer, seamlessly combining a growing concert career with his creative work. A prizewinner at the 2025 Ferruccio Busoni International Piano Competition and recipient of the Steinway Förderpreis, he has performed with leading orchestras such as the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the Staatskapelle Dresden. Alongside his expanding concert activity, his catalogue as a composer continues to grow, ranging from chamber music to orchestral repertoire, from ballet to opera, with performances in prestigious venues such as the Philharmonie and the Konzerthaus in Berlin and the Dresdner Kulturpalast.
